About Me

I am a Research Fellow at The Physical Structure of Perception and Computation (PSPC) group of the University of Genoa.

I was born in Genoa, Italy, on June 5th, 1987. I got my MSc in Electrical Engineering in 2011. I work in the PSPC Lab since 2012 to the development of new techniques for displaying stereoscopic 3D environment, to allow the creation of new systems for 3D augmented reality.

I am author and co-author of few peer reviewed scientific papers, and I am co-inventor of two national and international patents. Moreover I have been tutor or supervisor of several B.Sc. and M.Sc. thesis, carried out at PSPC Lab.

In September 2013 I won the “SmartCup Liguria 2013″ competition in the category “ICT – Social Innovation”, with the project of a smartphone-based 3D Scanner.

In March 2014 I gave a speech at the GTC as invited speaker, about the virtual reality system object of my thesis and I’m still developing.
